STUDENT BUILT HOMES PROJECT! Students from seven district high schools head to the Huot Tech Center's “In-the-shop job site”
where they learn to frame, side, plumbing & heating prep, install windows and participate in nearly every step of constructing a home.
The job site is a learning-rich environment, and it's also one of the best places for young people to find inspiration and discover new talents.
LRBRA provides all funding for materials for each year's build, mentor students, provide scholarships and training opportunities.
